We do not take walk-in surrenders.

A Temporary "Paws"
Why This Matters — And What We Need to Do
We regret to share that we are currently unable to accept any cat surrenders — including both owned cats and strays. Kitten season has brought us an overwhelming number of intakes, and with a record number of surrenders this year and adoptions moving slowly, our shelter has reached full capacity.
🚨 Important: We kindly ask that you do not contact us with surrender requests at this time, including through our website, phone, email, walk in requests or social media. We are at full capacity and unable to respond to these messages. Accepting more cats than we can properly care for would compromise the health, safety, and well-being of every cat in our shelter, and that is something we cannot risk.
In the meantime, if you need help rehoming a cat, you may wish to contact:
-
Other local rescues and shelters
-
Your veterinarian (who may know of rehoming programs or resources)
-
Trusted online rehoming platforms or social media groups
What’s Continuing (with Some Changes):
-
Adoptions: We are still accepting and reviewing adoption applications. Meet-and-greets are scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
-
PetSmart Partnership: This partnership remains unchanged.
-
Surrenders: No new surrenders will be accepted until further notice.
-
Visits: Visits are by appointment only and limited to approved applications.
-
Events: All events and fundraising activities will continue as planned
We will share updates on our website and social media as soon as we are able to resume surrenders.
Thank you for your patience, compassion, and understanding, your kindness keeps us going and allows us to give our cats the love and care they deserve.
